What Participants are Saying About this Course
Excellent ResourceLisa Hobbs •
My company is looking to transition to scrum. We've been doing 'scrum but' for some time. I loved that this course reinforced what I've been saying for awhile now - that there is a fundamental culture change that needs to happen with our leadership teams in order to be successful and truly see the benefits of moving to an Agile shop. Excellent information presented well.
Great introduction to agile and Scrum, and the part the managers can playGeoff Watts •
This is a really well put together course. It brings everyone up to a consistent and comprehensive base level of knowledge without being patronising and, as well as explaining the rules, Mitch also shares his perspectives. For those in management and leadership positions Mitch gives some common success and failure patterns as well as come clear suggestions on what you can do to increase the chances of success. On a practical level, the videos have been produced to a very high level with good investment in sound and animations, and Mitch has also broken topics down into very digestible chunks.
Great and to the pointSaad Manasterli •
This was a great intro and reflects a reality that some courses fail to mention. The method in which the course was given to well paced and provides you with enough new information that you can process and reflect on. I would recommend this to anyone starting with Scrum, or those that have fallen off the Scrum beaten path.

A good point to discuss with the manager in order to implement scrum in your company
SCRUM for Managers ReviewTom Hels •
Good stuff. As a Manager I will use the concepts from this course to support my teams.
Lots of good ideas and suggestionsBrian Dowhan •
I like that this course offered ideas and suggestions rather than just the core concepts. The examples help put things in perspective like seeing the backlog as a refrigerator. I also appreciated the Value Allocation graph and look forward to using that on future projects to help the team and the stakeholders better understand where time is being spent.
Very comprehensiveAnna Falus •
It was a very clear and comprehensive course with the right amount of information for managers. I took the course as a prerequisite for the PO course and could not stop thinking about the usability of the course for my managers and colleagues. I'll definitely recommend it. Thank you!
Very good overview of ScrumMark Trayers •
The presenter covered all the major points of Scrum in a concise and easy to understand method.
Concise, Applicable, EnergeticRaffael Kellner •
I rarely write reviews. Except for occasions when I'm deeply disappointed or totally excited about a product. The latter is the case with Mitch Lacey's course Scrum for Managers! This stuff is awesome! What I'd like to say is: Mitch Lacey is not just a guy who knows how to do Scrum project management the right way. It's also a fact that he knows how to convey it. He's covering all the facts and he does it in a concise way that I'll remember it and change my actions accordingly. That's really what I expect from a good coach: helping me to adapt a better way of project management, even in situations of stress when doing things 'the old way' appears so much easier (it never is). I frequently re-run the video sessions offered in the course to refresh my knowledge and my motivation to adapt Scrum. Each time I watch the videos, I remember the energetic CSPO course I've enjoyed with Mitch in Vienna. I often come back to the manual and discuss it with my team. I've found that the lessons are perfectly applicable to project management at our tech consulting firm. I'd recommend the Mitch's courses to anyone who is serious about adapting Scrum in the shortest period of time. I'm not saying it's easy, but it's certainly worth it. And if you got the budget: make sure that at least one member of your team also gets to attend the on-site course. The magic kicks in when you've experienced Mitch Lacey live! Have fun!
Excellent course with very experienced trainer!Robert Weinberger •
It is more than obvious, that Mitch has a lot of experience in his field. The principles are well taught, but also the real life obstacles - which are also very important - are mentioned (including how to overcome them). American Style presentation (means excellent & fun ;-) The videos were also very helpful as well to quickly brush up some knowledge or to get a fast overview and be better prepared for the course.
